Coaching Structure
Performance Coach Levels
Level One Coach: Qualified to assist Level Two Coaches and above
Level Two Performance Coach: Qualified to coach athletes in the group of events identified on the UKA Coaching pass. (Sprints/Jumps/Throws/Endurance)
Level Three Performance Coach: Qualified to coach in the event group(s) in which they have received Performance training in an individual event or one more than one event.
Level Four Performance Coach: Qualified to coach in an event group in which they have recieved a superior degree of specialist performance training, in one or more individual events.
Level Five Performance Coach: International Accreditation (World Championships/Olympics)
Performance Coaches can provide specific training programmes for athletes who wish to participate in an event specific area, for example a sprinter. Performance Coaches can provide specific programmes for any athletes, usually over the age of 13.
