Tom Carter Comes Fourth In Poland Running For GB At European Championships

Tom Carter of Vale Royal AC had a fantastic time in Poland where he competed in the Under 23 European Championships which proved to be a huge learning curve for the up and coming athlete.

Tom reached the final of the 1500 metres and gained 4th place which was very pleasing, yet at the same time heart wrenching due to missing out on a medal by the narrowest of margins.

Club President Harry Evans congratulated Tom on his achievement and believes there is more to come from the athlete who has been a member of the club since the age of nine.

Tom is a student at Loughborough University where he is sponsored by Saucony and will be seen around Hartford track during the summer months.
