Tom Runs For Great Britain

Tom Carter, member of Vale Royal Athletic Club as well as Loughborough University gained a silver medal in the England Under 23 AAA Championships last weekend at the 1500 metres.

Tom had already gained the European Junior championships qualifying time of 3.43 minutes and had to finish in the medals to go to Poland for the championships on 17th July 2003.

Tom has worked very hard whilst at university and has enjoyed the vigorous training sessions both at university and at home when he pops in to Vale Royal AC.
