Birmingham Relays Prove To Be A Hit!!!

The National (AAA) Road Relays Championships took place in Birmingham this year, which proved to be a very successful time for the junior teams that participated.

In the under 13 girls race Emily Deamon, Louise Bosson and Corrine Kinvig finished in a excellent position of 36th out 100 teams.  The second team of Kate Howard, Josie Capel and Leanne Jones finished in 85th place - well done girls.

In the under 15 girls race race Stevie Stockton, Lorna Timms and Laura Lambert  finished up with the country`s best in 14th place and only one minute behind the winners, the race was very tightly contested over the final stages between many teams.

Gemma Lievesley, Vicky Jones and Lucy Knight finished in 34th position, again a very good position on a tough course for the second team of Vale Royal AC for the under 15 girls age group.

The under 17 girls team of Beth Carter, Becky Ellis and Fiona Rudkin finished in a excellent 5th place.  The girls finished ahead of some big city clubs from all over the country.  Well done girls!!!
