The Under 17 Girls Team Of Becky Ellis, Beth Carter, Fiona Rudkin and Caroline Winder had excellent runs at Heaton Park in Manchester to claim the first team prize at the highly rated North of England Championships...

The girls endured blustery conditions and heavy mud to master the course with some gutsy running to just about stand on the podium...

Caroline Winder was fed up with the blustery conditions that she threw off her number during the race, luckily one of the coaches at the club saw her do it and made her pick up her number and stick it back on.... yes, all during the race too....  otherwise Caroline may have been disqualified....
