Neil
Says Bye To The Club

Jumps
Coach Neil Templeman has left the club after 14 years of voluntary coaching
to pursue a job as head athletics coach with Manchester City Council, moving
to Manchester to live.
Neil
is taking a year out from coaching athletics after 14 consistent years of
coaching jumps and is not joining any other athletics club as he wants to
concentrate on his new job. Neil is currently doing a Masters Degree
in Sports Coaching at Loughborough University which is time consuming and
requires constant study.
Neil
has very happy memories of the club and has really enjoyed working with
athletes and coaches at the club in many different areas and feels that the
club is the best in Cheshire in terms of the development the club is
undergoing. Neil had intended to stay at the club, however, the
travelling from the middle of Manchester to get to the club was too
stressful and therefore the decision was taken to leave the club.
Neil
would like to thank in particular Shaun McGrath and Harry Evans for their
constant support over the many years in many different areas.
Neil
also created the original web site and was web site editor for five years,
before the new editor Steve Collier started his new role this month.
