Norwich Union as sponsors of UK Athletics have launched an initiative called 'Join Our Team' to support a number of athletic projects at a local level.

Our club is participating in this and we have put forward a proposal to improve the throws facilities at Knights Grange.

We just need 50 votes to guarantee us £1000 which will be used to purchase discus and hammer throwing equipment.

As an added incentive every vote is entered into a monthly draw for prizes including a fantastic holiday and tickets to televised athletic events.

Note - you must be aged 12 or over to vote.
You first need to register by entering your details along with a valid email address.
You will then be sent an email which will entitle you to vote.

With more votes there is the possibility of even more funding.
The project that receives the most votes in the North West region will win £12,500.
This would be used to provide a much needed throws cage.

The regional winners go into the national final with a possibility of receiving £50,000.
If successful this prize would be put towards the fund for the overall upgrade of Knights Grange which includes up to date facilities for throws and jumps.
