Members of VRAC management
committee and VRBC Executive Committee were recently invited to attend a
launch meeting of UKA North West Region Facilities Strategy 2007 - 2012
at Sport City, Manchester. Presentations were given by Michael Hunt UKA
North West Regional Manager, Dave Young UKA Facilities Manager and on
behalf of the Club by Harry Evans, chairman. One of the headline
priorities for UKA in the North West is a new synthetic track at
Winsford.
A refurbished track is also one of the priorities in a large scale sports development plan at Knights Grange proposed by the Knights Grange User Group Development Association. If the plan is accepted by the VRBC Executive Committee then the next stage is to access funding for the proposal.
