Success at the North Staffs Cross Country
Vale Royal seniors ran in the very competitive North Staffs cross country on Saturday on a very muddy Stafford Common.
Nicky Archer won the
senior ladies race. In a class of her own the international runner led
from start to finish. She was supported by Helen Whitby in 19th and
Mary Tavener in an excellent 29th.
In the senior mens
race Gavin Tomlinson finished in 3rd and Stuart Doyle finished in
10th.
Also running were Mike Weedall, Tony Archer, Glyn Evans and Colin Rathbone.
