North Staffs Cross Country
Stevie Stockton won
the senior ladies race in the North Staffs cross country at Leek
on Saturday. Stevie led from the gun and left all the other eighty
runners in her wake. Becky Ellis finished in seventh.
Jade Evans ran
in the u13 girls race, Luke Ackerman in the u11 boys race, Lewis
Healey and Josh Boyce in the u13s, Hannah Paver and Fiona Weir in
the u15 girls race and Mike Bessant ran in the u15 boys.
Andy Clews won
the u17 boys race supported by Ed Crowther. The u17 girls race was
won in style by Kathy Stringer with Katie Howard in fourth place.
Gavin Tomlinson
and Tom Bessant ran in the senior men's race with Gavin picking up
bronze in the league overall.
