Stevie Selected For England

Stevie Stockton has been selected to run for England for the third time this weekend after her superb performance at the North of England Championships a few weeks ago.  Stevie won the Junior Womens race with a huge effort to leave the field trailing in her wake.

Stevie has run in Ireland and Italy over the last 12 months and this third call up for England shows this is an athlete of quality who has a philosophy of working very, very hard to achieve her goals.

Everyone at the club is delighted for Stevie and wishes her well at the meeting in Luxembourg on Sunday where the weather is bound to be cold, but Stevie has had plenty of experience of cold conditions over recent weeks at many cross country races to put her in good stead for the competition.
