VRAC at the NoE Cross Country
Vale Royal
Athletic Club took part in the North of England Cross
championships at Leeds on Saturday.
The u13 girls
of Hannah Bishop, Louise Towers, Kate Moulds and Jade Evans
finished in a brilliant 6th place.
The u13 boys
of Lewis Healey, Mike Vennard, Andrew Zimmer, Jack Quinn and
Josh Boyce finished in 8th place - the best ever for that age
group at Vale Royal.
Bottom of her
age group Megan Huxley finished in 8th place in her first ever
Northern Championships and her team of Charlotte Mills, Claire
Perry and Lucy Wittick took team silver ( for

Three of the girls will be running in the same age group next year.

Rebecca
Craigie finished in 6th place in the u17 ladies and along with
Kathy Stringer (finishing 12th) will be in the same age group
next year. The team finished in 4th place with Emily Furber,
Kate Howard, Gemma Mayled & Sophie Axford.
Andy Clews
finished in 19 place in the u17 boys race. Ed Crowther also ran.
The u20 men of James Griffiths, Chris Perry, Zach Cross and Peter Cox finished in 5th place.
Karen Ellison
(41st) and Becky Ellis (54th) ran in a field of 290 finishers.
Gavin
Tomlinson finished in a brilliant 50th place out of 665 runners.
