'A Very Supportive Club!'

Vale Royal had 13 runners in last weekend's Great Warford 10, the latest round in the Cheshire Grand Prix Series after the Pie & Peas 5.

One of the visiting competitors sent us the following email thanking our members for their support during her run:

Hello!

I have just completed the Great Warford 10 miles yesterday.

Although I came last I ran it at my pace and within my projected time ( rather slow compared to you 'professional' runners but I was really very pleased with myself ).

I was very impressed with all of your runners out on the course - as I was lapped by them every one of them told me to "keep going" and "well done" which was lovely.

 

Please send my thanks to them as they were really supportive - not knowing me from 'Adam' and lapping me from about my 4mile mark!
