Vale Royal AC 'Athletics Road Show' Visit Wincham Primary School - Summer 2002

Pupils of Wincham Primary School were treated to 3 weeks of athletics with VRAC Coach Neil Templeman, along with 3 athletes Kate Lievesley, Mel Dean and Nicky Archer who were team captains for the youngsters.  The pupils in Years 5 and 6 were treated to a whole host of athletics events which included soft javelin, soft hammer, hurdles, sprint races, shot putt as well as many other athletics disciplines.

Along with the athletics the pupils at the school were asked to participate in a competition with questions on the VRAC Web Site.  Each pupil had to answer questions by looking through the site of Vale Royal AC.  The Winner is photographed above with the winning prize, a Vale Royal AC cap, who just happens to be a very keen member of Vale Royal AC!!!
