Vale Royal Sprinters Win At The Home Of Sprinting 'Birchfield Harriers' 2002

Vale Royal sprinters Steven Butterfield and Morgan Brown took a trip down to Birmingham to compete at the Alexander Stadium which is known as the home of sprinting in the UK.  The two members really did have a very exciting evening indeed, with Morgan setting a new personal best of 13.5 seconds in the 100 metres, winning the final (U13 girls).

Steven also contested the 100 metres winning in a time of 11.6 seconds where he equalled his personal best time in the U20 Men age group.  John Lightfoot (sprints coach) was delighted with the performance of both athletes and is now looking forward to a few more races, before a short break in September.
