Coaches Visit School

Coaches at Vale Royal AC were asked by Sandbach Girls School to provide coaching at a afternoon athletics club which has been a huge success with lots of enthusiasm from the pupils.

Coaches Shaun McGrath has been providing training in middle distance along with Neil Templeman who has been providing athletes with tips in high jumping each week.

John Lightfoot and John Watson both have conducted one coaching session at the school with great success. 

The club has a great relationship with many local schools such as Verdin High School, Weaverham High School as well as Hartford High school, where each summer coaches provide coaching.

Club President and sprints coach Harry Evans commented on the commitment of the coaches who visit the schools each year, year in, year out.  Primary schools have also been targeted over the years with plenty of equipment being taken into the schools for fun and games.
