Xmas Eve Run 2004 Sees Big Turn Out!!!!

Around 70 athletes turned up for the Xmas Eve Run 2004 with lots of enthusiasm from the news that the bag packing shift at Morrisons a few days earlier raised over £1000 for club funds towards new track facilities in Vale Royal.

Athletes were in Christmas spirit with the junior run getting away at 10.30am followed by the Seniors run at 11am who ran two laps covering five miles.  The chatter, laughter and banter could be heard throughout the forest, which brought a smile to many families out in the forest, who laughed at the costumes of Vale Royal AC athletes.

Coaches from Vale Royal AC would like to take the opportunity to wish all parents and athletes a very merry Christmas and a great new year for 2005.
