Club Visit Vale Royal Mayor

Shaun McGrath and Andy Carter went along to Vale Royal Borough Council to show the mayor Of Vale Royal Pam Hooker the award won by the club.

The club have won the North West 'Best Off Track Club' 2005 and wanted to publicise the efforts of athletes and coaches to the council to promote the club within the region.

Brian Hall who is a councillor with Vale Royal Borough Council was delighted with the achievements of the club and wants to assist the club in the attainment of better facilities for the sport of athletics.

Both Shaun and Andy fully enjoyed the evening along with several athlete who took time out from their busy study schedules to chat with the mayor.
