Presentation Evening 2005 (April 8th)

Vale Royal Athletic Club held the Presentation Evening 2005 at Winnington Rugby Club where the hall was packed with 146 athletes and parents who saw the presentation of awards to athletes and coaches in some cases!!!

The awards were presented by Vale Royal Athletic Club Coach Andy Carter, who has won medals at two major athletics championships (European Championships & Commonwealth Games), plus a top five placing in an Olympic Final in 1972 (Munich) over the distance of 800 metres.

This is the 11th year the club has held this awards evening and it really was packed out, so next year the club are going to look for a bigger venue to fit us all in!!!

Awards were given out to coaches who had donated two hours voluntarily to gain the Sport Cheshire Millennium Volunteers Certificate for coaching at the club, plus awards for recognition of athletic performance over the last twelve months.
