Club Athletes Brave The Rain Once Again!!!!

50 Athlete from the Club participated in the Vale Royal Mayors Charity Run at Knight Grange during the miserable Bank Holiday Weekend.  Athletes and Coaches from the club participated in two different races, one being the 2K race for the younger ones and the 8K for the older athletes.

Despite the horrible rainy weather the athletes all had a good time and £300 was raised for the Mayor of Vale Royal Borough Council Pam Hooker who was delighted with the efforts of the club.

Many Thanks to Shaun McGrath of Vale Royal AC who organised the event who praised the attitude of the athletes despite the horrible, horrible weather, its just our luck as the weather last year when we did this run was exactly the same!!!
