Funtastic Day Goes Great!!!!

On Friday 15th July Coaches and Athletes From VRAC were in action at the Funtastic Day organised by Vale Royal Borough Council in order to promote physical activity within school children.

400 school children were in action doing around 12 different sports during the day for a selected period of time, which included fishing, bowls, athletics, football, tennis, cricket, craft making and parachute games which a few of the many activities in place.

Neil Templeman, Shaun McGrath and Dave Copsey who are coaches at the club were in action throughout the day with relay games, hammer, javelin, standing triple jump and long jump amongst some of the activities provided by Vale Royal AC. 

Vale Royal AC coaches were flanked by athletes from the club namely Hannah Weedall, Vicky Jones, Mike Carroll and Glen George who were a big help on the day.  Coaches fully enjoyed the activities and sincerely hope that children will come along to the club to participate in many different athletic activities.
