Kate Gains MV Certificate

Kate Spilsbury is the second person at the club to invest their time in voluntary hours to gain the highly rated Millennium Volunteers Certificate.  Kate has completed 200 hours of voluntary coaching over the last 12 months where she has attended sessions at the club, worked in primary schools with the club road show.  Kate was also team manager with Neil Templeman at the 2004 Cheshire Youth games which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Kate is also a very keen athlete herself, being the current U20 North Staffs Cross Country Champion as well as a member of the Gold winning U20 ladies team at the Cheshire Cross Country Championships in January 2005.

Club President Harry Evans was delighted with the achievement of Kate, where he said that Kate has carefully organised her study time, coaching the junior athletes as well as competing for the club.
