Bag Pack Raises £800.12 For Club

Athletes, Coaches and Parents were in action at the Morrisons Bag Pack on Thursday 22nd December where a superb total of £800.12 was raised for the club.

A total of 62 athletes turned up to pack bags during a three hour period from 9am to 12 mid day with some busy packing indeed by the athletes.

The club are delighted with the sum raised and it far exceeded expectations of everyone to raise that much money in three hours.

The club would like to thank Morrisons for the opportunity and would once again like to thank everyone that turned up today, especially a big thank you to the Lambert family who helped to count the money.  A big thank you would also like to be expressed to Shirley Davenport who organised the event.

Congratulations to Gemma Lievesley who had passed her driving test the previous day and was in a fantastic mood for the bag pack.
