Hanna Wins Silver Medal At British

Indoor Championships 2006

Hanna Hewitson was in action at the National Indoor Arena in the British Indoor Championships where she gained a Silver medal in the Under 17 Ladies triple jump.

Hanna who is the North Of England Indoor and Outdoor Champion as well as being record holders for both indoor and outdoor was delighted with her silver medal at a British Championships, missing out on the gold medal by some 12 cms.

Jumps Coach Neil Templeman was very pleased with the medal at a major championship and said that Hanna has improved so much over the last 12 months and this silver medal is a just reward for her efforts in training.

Hanna will now knuckle down to some more conditioning and technical training in order to get ready for the summer season outdoors with a great indoor season under her belt.

Club President Harry Evans was full of praise for Hanna where he added that Hanna had done extremely well and was top of the National Indoor rankings for 2006.
