Pie and Peas 2006 Race Goes Really Well

The Pie and Peas 2006 Race went very well indeed with 230 runners taking part despite cold and windy conditions which the runners appreciated after weeks of very hot weather indeed.

The runners completed the five mile course in fast times with Stephen Mitchell coming home in the 3rd place for Vale Royal AC and George Thompson in 10th for Vale Royal.  Where Stevie Stockton came home as first lady in 28th place to record a very good run around the lanes of Moulton and the River Weaver.

The club would like to thank all the runners who turned up and the Sponsors of the race Laminate Carpets in Northwich.
