Stephen In The Running For

England Vest

Stephen Mitchell is looking very likely to get an England vest on the fells after some storming runs on the fells of Lancashire.

Stephen has been taking part in the British Fell Running Championships which is a series of races that take place on the fells which is a very tough environment to race in.  Stephen has one more round to run and the worst he can come is Joint Champion, which would get him an England Vest for the race in Ireland on the 3rd October.  If he wins the next round, obviously he will be crowned British Champion on the fells for the U20 age group which would be a fantastic achievement.

Everyone at the club wishes Stephen the very best of luck for the final round of the competition and really hope he does become British champion!!!
