Athletes Who Have Represented
Their Country

The club has produced over the years 16 full internationals in cross country, fell running as well as track running events.  These athletes are :

From the Junior Section - Nick Jones, Jane Groves, Alex Carter, Tom Carter, Andy Ellis, Becky Ellis, Karen Ellison, Hayley Jones, Hannah Weedall, Stevie Stockton, Nicky Archer, Stephen Mitchell, Charlotte Roach and Rebecca Craigie.

Veteran athletes from Vale Royal Athletic Club who have gained international honours are John Watson who competed for Great Britain at the World Championships (over 65 vets) in the Throws Pentathlon, and Mike Weedall who competed for Great Britain in the Fell Running World Championships in the veteran 45 category.
