Xmas Run 2006 Enjoyed By All

The Club held its 12th Xmas Run and this proved to be a popular event with the youngsters who were tired from the disco the night before, but still managed to jog round the forest with plenty of youthful enthusiasm.

The under 11 athletes ran round the forest in a one mile run which was quickly covered by the sheer pace of the youngsters.

Finally, the second run of the day took place where the youngsters ran five miles wearing fancy dress and lots of festive cheer around the forest.  At the end of the run there was a huge exchange of Christmas presents and the downing of mince pies.
