Great Performances at the Northern XC Relays

Another Relay meeting out of the way and another Super Saturday, there were some really good performances and 3 medals for the club, gold for the U17 Women, gold for the U17 Men and bronze for the U13 Boys.
But there were good performances across the whole team with plenty of positives for everyone.

This does not tell the whole story though, Amy Hinchly's journey was delayed and at the very last moment, when it was decided that she was not going to arrive on time, Clara Pettitt had to run the third leg in the A team rather than for the B team.
However she ran a brilliant leg, helped partly by being chased by a dog but then working really hard on the long hill to hold off the opposition and claim the gold medal!

We again, had a number of top ten fastest times, Elliot Bowker was fastest, Sam Whitehead 2nd, Katie Gerrard 2nd, Jess Parsons 4th, Ben Lee 4th, and Mike Vennard 7th in the Senior race.

So, well done everyone for making a great day all round.
