British Athletics Cross Challenge

 

Vale Royal AC had 3 athletes competing in the British Athletics Cross Challenge 2013 /14 in Bristol on Sun 28th October, and we are very pleased to report that we had 2 winners:

in the U17 Mens race Elliot Bowker and Jac Hopkins broke clear of the field but Elliot kept the pressure on to pull away from his Welsh rival to win by 29 seconds!

Following this Katie Brough then took the Senior Ladies race, taking the lead after about 1k she stayed clear to win from Juliet Potter.
Stevie Stockton was also in the race and finished in 4th place 20 seconds behind the winner!

So a great day for the club!
