National Road Relays

    

All 3 senior men's team did superbly at Sunday's Northern Road relays, with the A team achieving a best ever placing of 8th.
In addition, if my calculations are correct, then the B team also qualified for the National relays by finishing in 30th and ahead of the 25th A team.
The only other clubs to achieve this were Salford, Sale, Leeds and Morpeth so we're in distinguished company!!

Once I get confirmation then I only have a short window to accept the invitation therefore can any runners who have competed in either the North West or Northern relays let me know by Sunday 22nd if they wish to compete in the Nationals which are in Birmingham on Sunday 6th October.
I can then assess whether there is sufficient interest for 2 teams and pick squads.
