Christmas Message

Wishing a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all our members, coaches and volunteers together with all other associates of the club.

Despite the challenges 2021 has brought I firmly believe VRAC is in a stronger position than ever and look forward to 2022 confident that we are well placed to meet any further trials next year may throw at us.

I am immensely proud of the roles played by everybody across the club in supporting each other:

To the coaches who have displayed outstanding skills, flexibility and commitment to get sessions and competitions arranged
The volunteers without whom the above sessions couldn't happen
The athletes who have continued to turn-up in great numbers to events and training making the efforts of the coaches and volunteers worthwhile
The parents and carers who have ensured their children can get to training and competitions
My fellow committee members who have helped keep things working smoothly

Due to the efforts of everyone above I feel we have managed to retain a degree of normality, help people's mental and physical health, achieve some incredible results in competitions and build a lot of friendships along the way - and all for just £55 a year!!!!

As just one example of the rude health of the club we are currently pulling together entries for the Cheshire Cross Country Championships in early January and it looks like we will have around 100 entries which is a phenomenal proportion of our total membership to be competing in a single endurance event.

Have a great festive break and a fantastic 2022!!!!
